In the mid-1940s, several employees of an international manufacturer of masonry waterproofing and repair products, located in the same town of Monongahela, Pennsylvania, left that company’s corporate headquarters to establish Wall Firma, Incorporated (WFI) which competed directly with them. Over the next four decades, they developed top quality products to service both the consumer Do-It-Yourself market and the commercial/construction markets in the USA.

In 1983, WFI was purchased from the surviving founder by a graduate industrial engineer with an MBA, Kenneth Codeluppi, who invested a significant amount of capital to automate the plant, to improve  manufacturing methods, to update the packaging of its major brand, Sunny Dry, to expand the product line offering plus its point-of-sale merchandising aids and to add new customers.  The combined packaging improvements greatly enhanced the ease of product selection for the consumer do-it-yourselfer, the contractor and the construction trade.

In 2001, Wall Firma acquired the Damtite brand of masonry waterproofing and repair products from its Atlanta-based founder and consolidated operations to its Monongahela, PA plant location. WFI’s two major superior-quality brands of products, Sunny Dry and Damtite, have been sold to retailers, contractors and construction for a combined total of over 145 years under the management and ownerships of only the two separate founders and Kenneth Codeluppi since 1945.
